Hello,

PV's are fine in snow country as long as the panels are installed at such an angle as to shed any snow build up or if you brush them off. In most cases the snow melts off the panels as soon as the sun comes up enough to begin charging anyway. In many cases, the sunlight reflecting off the snow adds to the amount of charge going into the batteries.
